Panini America, the world’s largest sports and entertainment collectibles company and the NBA’s exclusive trading card and sticker partner, has inked former University of Arizona star Derrick Williams – expected to be the first or second player taken in tomorrow’s 2011 NBA Draft – to an exclusive agreement.
Williams, the 2011 Pac-10 Player of the Year, averaged 19.5 points per game as a sophomore last season and led the Wildcats into the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. He joins an impressive roster of exclusive athletes in the Panini family, including five-time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, 2009 No. 1 overall pick Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers and John Wall, last year’s No. 1 overall pick of the Washington Wizards.
