When it comes to Panini America’s ballyhooed National Treasures Baseball franchise, there are certain givens — such as booklets, hard-signed RPAs, a heaping helping of historic memorabilia — that have come to define the brand and make it one of the industry’s most desirable high-end affairs. But this year’s additions of the legendary Mickey Mantle (in many collectible forms) and a rookie crop brimming with the likes of Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger, have sent expectations for 2017 National Treasures Baseball to a loftier level.
Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America on Wednesday, each box of 2017 National Treasures Baseball will deliver eight autograph or memorabilia cards, including one booklet.
