Collectors holding 2007 Elite Extra Edition redemptions for Chris Davis should begin receiving their autographed cards soon.
Donruss reports that Davis signatures have arrived in house, and the production process is underway to fulfill those redemptions. In March, Donruss announced that Davis replaced basketball player D.J. Strawberry as card #136.
Davis opened the 2008 season at Double-A Frisco, but was promoted to Triple-A Oklahoma after 46 games. He batted a combined .333 with 23 home runs and 73 RBI in 297 at-bats between Double-A and Triple-A before making his big-league debut June 26 with Texas. Entering the final three weeks of the season, Davis was batting .275 with 14 HR and 42 RBI for the Rangers.
