While Brett Favre was getting all the retirement attention, one of the league's loudest competitors slid quietly into the night. Love him or hate him, Warren Sapp spent most of his 13-year career in the backfield, chasing quarterbacks that is. The master of smack talk made the announcement much the way he played, by posting a quote on the Oakland Raider's website that said - "I'M DONE!"
The 35-year-old was the NFL's 1999 Defensive Player of the Year. He was a seven-time Pro Bowler and lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defense to a world championship title in Super Bowl XXXVII. He spent nine seasons with the Bucs before finishing it up with the Raiders. The former Miami Hurricane was picked 13th over-all in the 1995 NFL Draft and finished his career with 96 1/2 sacks.
We decided to go back thru the hobby history books and see how much cardboard Donruss (Playoff, Leaf & Score) produced of the former Raiders DT. As you can see, he's a TOUGH autograph to get and we are the place to go for his Game-Used!
