Donruss Heads to Allentown

Donruss packed their bags and made a visit this past weekend in Allentown, Pennsylvania, site of the annual Philly Non-Sports Update show. The Merchant Mall was hoppin' with collectors filling sets and gathering promo cards. The evening event on Saturday night was full and the turnout for the breakfast on Sunday was even better, as representatives from all the major manufacturers were on-hand to answer questions and showcase product.

Donruss was on-hand to promote their release - Donruss Americana, a product filled with non-sports legends from entertainment, music and pop culture. Two promo cards were produced exclusively for the show, a base card of Larry Hagman and a Cinema Stars insert card of Mickey Rooney.

"The show was full of passionate collectors that were having fun interacting with each other and with the manufacturers," said Donruss Playoff Marketing Manager Scott Prusha. "We got a ton of great feedback on the product (Americana) and we even heard some great ideas for future releases. It was a great show for us to attend and we're looking forward to doing more like these in the future." Here are a few pictures from the Donruss trip.
