Arlington, April 20, 2007 - A week after potential first-rounder Greg Olsen signed over 250 autographs for registered attendees to kick-off this year's Trade Conference, Donruss announced another Hurricane will be around to sign at weeks end. Former Miami standout, Jon Beason, will be signing free autographs for the public at this year's trading card show on Saturday.
The show is set to begin today at the Bahia Mar Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Donruss is the official sponsor of the show that will run thru tomorrow night (Friday, April 20th & Saturday, April 21st). Hours will be 1-8 on Friday and 10-4 on Saturday. Admission is free for the general public.
Beason will be signing for free to the public from 1-3 PM.
The Hurricane's have produced several NFL linebackers and Jon is next to make the jump. Considered by many as a top talent in this year's draft, he has the speed to be picked on the first day of the draft.
"This is another way for us to introduce the hobby to great player from this year's talented draft class," said Donruss Playoff Marketing/PR Director Scott Prusha. "Greg was a huge hit and we know that Jon will be too. He's really excited to be doing this."
