The third Monday in February has been reserved for honoring the great leaders of our country. First established as a holiday to celebrate the birthday of our founding father, George Washington, Presidents Day was officially put on the calendar to honor Abraham Lincoln's birthday, as well.
Our presidents have shown a love for sports and their involvement in our great games have been seen throughout our industry. Recently, several presidential signatures were included in National Treasures.
